Wow, me uploading twice? In one day?? UNHEARD OF

K but seriously, I randomly felt the urge to look through my old art and decided hey, 2015's going to be over soon, why not put one of these things together? Not sure about other people, but personally, I love looking at other artist's improvement; it's amazing seeing how far they've come since their early days and kinda gives me hope that hey, I can get there too.

As it stands, I'm really happy with how far I've come since 2010, when I first started taking drawing a little more seriously (thanks anime). I'm not sure how obvious this is, but Bleach was my first ever anime and my style was hugely influenced off of it; I mean, currently, not back in 2010 when all I drew were crappy chibis LOL-- And not sure what happened to all my stuff in 2011.

2012 wasn't particularly exciting. My artwork got a little less chibi-looking and I began drawing torsos. 2013 was a HUGE year for me. I didn't even have the chance to include some of my traditional work, but my anatomy massively improved, as with my shading, and I stuck with traditional art for the first half of the year. I think I got my tablet that summer and I was drawing on that thing non. Stop. That first image you see with the guy with a giant axe was either my second or third ever digital piece; I was really proud of it LOL The mudkip was in late 2013 when I had become more used to using the tablet.

2014 had me ditching lineart because it took way too long and try painting. Not sure what happened but the eyes in all my drawings were too big and kinda creepy looking honestly LOL I got comfy with adding a lot more detail and my messy style got cleaner. By the end of the year I had taken up lineart again because painting took even LONGER, and tried a softer painting style (that Primal Registeel still looks good to me~)

2015 was another big step. My anatomy improved again, as did my shading, but I think the biggest thing this year was lighting and colour choice. It made a lot of my artwork much more vibrant. Instead of flat shading, I'd try to amp up the contrast as much as I could; everything was a lot more dynamic. Next year, I hope to continue working on anatomy and start getting into drawing backgrounds and scenery! :D ...And learning how to draw in Photoshop, it's time to graduate from Paint Tool Sai high school guys--

ANYWAYS RANT OVER, ENJOY LAUGHING AT MY OLD ART! <3 :D
